Founded in 1975, Siam Timber and Machinery (STM) specializes in manufacturing and development of specialty-steel cutting tools, i.e. bandsaw, bandknife. As a solution to your cutting operation, STM carries machines, equipments, and accessories for maintenance and retooling of your cutting operation. We also provide technical consultation and trouble shooting leveraging over 35 years of experience in the business. Our team serves large- and small-scale customers nation-wide and in other countries. Major industries are such as agriculture, frozen food, leather, wood processing, and furniture.

COMPANY HISTORY
In 1975, Siam Timber Supply Company Limited. was founded with the business of servicing the wood industries in Thailand with band saw blades, tools, and wood machineries. We serviced the timber industries with machines and accessories, and later expanded into other bandknife markets.

In 1985, Siam Timber Supply was renamed to Siam Timber and Machinery (STM) and had engaged in bandsaw and bandknife processing into finished blades. Our quality conscious since the beginning had indulged quality into our name of "Siam Timber" or "STM".

We were the first in Thailand to introduce stellite tipping, side grinding machines and bandsaw welding machines. STM has been a partner to rubberwood sawmills and furniture factories in their initial stage as small and simple cutting in a makeshift shed to larger and sophisticated saw mills and wood factory outlays.

In 1997, we began developing our blade specs to specific needs by our export customers, especially those requiring high precision. We expanded our blade manufacturing process from front to end.

Because cutting quality has a direct impact on profitability, we provides technical consultations to our existing and prospective customers on operation and maintenance. Our aims were to improve its cutting process efficiency and quality improvements.

In 2003, we added our bandsaw and bandknife production lines and upgraded our capability enabling us to serve a greater demand while maintaining our quality commitment.

In 2009, we expanded our product line into the agriculture industry, leveraging our existing capability and technology, resulting in a premium quality cutting tools at a lower selling price.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING
STM has taken the responsibilities in sharing bandsaw knowledge and know-how through article series called "Sarn Siam Timber" whereby the knowledge and know-how are printed and circulated to all STM customers. STM also conducts group training for customers who require such assistance from STM. The training conducted proved to be very helpful in correcting problems of bandsaw blade maintenance and use.

  บริษัท สยามทิมเบอร์ ซัพพลาย จำกัด ได้เริ่มก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2518 โดยให้บริการกับลูกค้าที่ประกอบอุตสาหกรรมไม้ในประเทศไทย ด้วยใบเลื่อยสายพาน อุปกรณ์ และเครื่องจักรทำไม้ สยามทิมเบอร์ได้ขยายไปสู่อุตสาหกรรมที่ใช้ใบมีดสายพาน อาทิ เช่น โรงฟอกหนัง, โรงงานยาง, ผู้ผลิตที่นอน, เสื้อผ้าสำเร็จรูป, และกระดาษ เป็นต้น ในปี พ.ศ. 2531 บริษัทฯได้เปลี่ยนชื่อใหม่เป็น บริษัท สยามทิมเบอร์ แอนด์ แมชชีนเนอรี่ จำกัด และได้พัฒนาไปสู่การเชื่อม ต่อใบเลื่อย,ใบมีดสายพาน, และผลิตใบเลื่อยสายพานสำเร็จรูป สำหรับบริการลูกค้าอย่างครบวงจร โดยมีการขยายการจัดจำหน่ายใบเลื่อยสายพาน ไปยังประเทศ ลาว, พม่าและฟิลิปปินส์ ในบางส่วน

สยามทิมเบอร์เป็นบริษัทแรกในประเทศไทยที่เปิดตัวเครื่องแต้มฟันเลื่อยด้วยสเตลไลท์ เครื่องเจียรข้างฟันเลื่อย และเครื่องเชื่อมต่อใบเลื่อยสายพานระบบไฟฟ้า สำหรับลูกค้าหลาย ๆ รายในอุตสาหกรรมไม้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งโรงเลื่อยไม้ยางพาราและโรงงานเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไม้ สยามทิมเบอร์ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการพัฒนาจากโรงเลื่อยไม้ยางพาราขนาดเล็กจนกระทั่งปัจจุบันเป็นโรงเลื่อยไม้ขนาดใหญ่

สยามทิมเบอร์ ดำเนินธุรกิจภายใต้ปรัชญา “ประหยัดด้วยคุณภาพ” และ “หน้าที่ที่สำคัญที่สุดของบริษัทฯ คือ สร้างความพึงพอใจแก่ลูกค้า”

การริเริ่มสร้างสรรค์และพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์เป็นหน้าที่ที่สำคัญของบริษัท เพื่อสนองต่อความต้องการหลายประการของลูกค้า การพัฒนาที่สำคัญอย่างหนึ่งคึอ บริษัทได้เสนอผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ "ซุปเปอร์ที" ซึ่งสื่อความหมายถึง ใบเลื่อยสายพานที่บางที่สุดและทนทานที่สุด ซึ่งจะช่วยแก้ปัญหาต่าง ๆ ของลูกค้าหลาย ๆ ราย ที่กำลังเผชิญอยู่ทุก ๆ วัน ซุปเปอร์ที เป็นใบเลื่อยพิเศษที่ไม่มีใบเลื่อยอื่น ๆ เปรียบได้
