In 1975, Siam Timber Supply Co., Ltd. was founded with the business of servicing the wood industries in Thailand with band saw blades, tools, and wood machineries. The business includes servicing the timber industries with other accessories and machines and expanded into industries using bandknives such as tanneries, rubber foam, mattress, garments, paper, etc. In 1985, the company is renamed to Siam Timber and Machinery Co., Ltd. (STM) and has engaged in the bandsaw and bandknife jointing and further processing into finished blades for customers. Some of our blades are sold in Laos, Myanmar and Philippines.

STM is first in introducing stellite tipping, side grinding machines and bandsaw welding machines in Thailand market. For many customers in the timber industries, especially rubberwood saw mills and furniture factories. STM was and is the partner in their progress from the small and simple rubberwood cutting in a makeshift shed to the present sophisticated saw mills and wood factory outlays.

STM management philosophies are "Economy Through quality" and "Your satisfaction is our prime task".

Innovations and products developments are our main tasks enabling us to serve customers at their needs. One important development is the Super-T meaning Super-Thin and Super-Tough bandsaw blades, which solves many of the problems most customers face today. SuperT serves customers under the Simple Easy Service (SES) program.

บริษัท สยามทิมเบอร์ ซัพพลาย จำกัด ได้เริ่มก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2518 โดยให้บริการกับลูกค้าที่ประกอบอุตสาหกรรมไม้ในประเทศไทย ด้วยใบเลื่อยสายพาน อุปกรณ์ และเครื่องจักรทำไม้ สยามทิมเบอร์ได้ขยายไปสู่อุตสาหกรรมที่ใช้ใบมีดสายพาน อาทิ เช่น โรงฟอกหนัง, โรงงานยาง, ผู้ผลิตที่นอน, เสื้อผ้าสำเร็จรูป, และกระดาษ เป็นต้น ในปี พ.ศ. 2531 บริษัทฯได้เปลี่ยนชื่อใหม่เป็น บริษัท สยามทิมเบอร์ แอนด์ แมชชีนเนอรี่ จำกัด และได้พัฒนาไปสู่การเชื่อม ต่อใบเลื่อย,ใบมีดสายพาน, และผลิตใบเลื่อยสายพานสำเร็จรูป สำหรับบริการลูกค้าอย่างครบวงจร โดยมีการขยายการจัดจำหน่ายใบเลื่อยสายพาน ไปยังประเทศ ลาว, พม่าและฟิลิปปินส์ ในบางส่วน

สยามทิมเบอร์เป็นบริษัทแรกในประเทศไทยที่เปิดตัวเครื่องแต้มฟันเลื่อยด้วยสเตลไลท์ เครื่องเจียรข้างฟันเลื่อย และเครื่องเชื่อมต่อใบเลื่อยสายพานระบบไฟฟ้า สำหรับลูกค้าหลาย ๆ รายในอุตสาหกรรมไม้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งโรงเลื่อยไม้ยางพาราและโรงงานเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไม้ สยามทิมเบอร์ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการพัฒนาจากโรงเลื่อยไม้ยางพาราขนาดเล็กจนกระทั่งปัจจุบันเป็นโรงเลื่อยไม้ขนาดใหญ่
